Compliance with TVCP (VATNZ/VATPAC Controllers)

1. INTRODUCTION

VATNZ and VATPAC have identified a change needed to existing policies to bring us into line with the revised Transfer and Visiting Controller Policy.

2. DETAILS

In accordance with the latest Transfer and Visiting Controller Policy (Section 6.1), only Controllers with a rating of S3 or higher are permitted to provide ATS in another division. This includes when controlling in VATPAC airspace as per our Letter of Agreement.

The Inter-Division Visiting Controller Policy between VATPAC and VATNZ will be updated shortly to reflect this.
