New Pacific Oceanic Agreement
The VATNZ Board is happy to announce that VATUSA, VATPAC and VATNZ have come together to form a new Pacific Oceanic Agreement. This agreement supersedes the Pacific Oceanic Partnership, which has been dissolved as of today.
There are a handful of changes in contrast to the Pacific Oceanic Partnership, however the privileges are the same. Additionally this LoA has been created with the new incoming GCAP in mind, which have informed the new activity requirements. Oceanic Controllers are now required to control for one hour every three months. Our current Oceanic tracking system is yet to be modified, and we'll let you know when this has been done.
A Local Instructions document is being prepared by all participating Divisions, as required in Subsection 2.2. For now, you can find additional information on the each Participating Organisation's website.
We'd like to thank all of the Staff from all three Divisions who have come together to form an agreement that works for everybody. This is an exciting step forward, and opens up a plethora of opportunities.
You can read more in the Policies section of the VATNZ website.
